LABOUR AND IMMIGRATION POLICY – PRINCIPAL, SENIOR AND POLICY ADVISORS SOUGHT

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
The BRANCH
The Labour and Immigration Policy branch is the lead advisor to the Government on labour market issues. We support Ministers to deliver their commitments in the Employment, Workplace Relations and Safety, Immigration and Accident Compensation policy portfolios. To do this, we support Ministers to set high level strategy, develop legislation and work closely with operational agencies . The branch is made up of six policy team: Accident Compensation Policy, Employment Relations Policy, Employment Standards Policy, Health and Safety Policy, Immigration Policy, and Skills and Employment Policy.
The branch works closely with a range of other internal and external stakeholders including other policy teams and service delivery arms within MBIE, other Government agencies, unions and business organisations
