About the role.
The Group Capability and Workforce Strategy team exists within the Strategy & Enablement branch of Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery to support the Group to get the best from our approximately 1600 people.
This highly collaborative and varied role reports to the Manager, Group Capability & Workforce Strategy and will be responsible for input to projects and participating in the design & delivery of capability and workforce focussed work within Te Whakatairanga Service Delivery.
It will contribute to the success of Capability and Workforce projects and maintains high quality, innovative and functional relationships with key stakeholders across the group and wider MBIE as needed.
Day to day you may see yourself involved in Supporting Managers with people development, analysing and exploring trends in our groups workforce needs, facilitating and enabling career and development conversations and undertaking other capability related tasks as needed by the GM's around the group.
You will in turn be supported to develop and grow skills in key areas to support your career and growth.
Skills and experience required:
We are keen to hear from you if you have a good range of, or desire to develop:
- Experience in exploring workforce needs;
- Experience in / or Exposure to stakeholder management;
- Qualification in Learning delivery, HR, Social Sciences or a relevant field;
- Ability to present and work with data for reporting and presentation;
- Experience with facilitation and influencing;
- Analytical and critical thinking skills;
- Exposure to Coaching and Mentoring methods;
- Must have legal right to live and work in NZ;
