About the role
This is highly varied role, working with a wide range of regional and community stakeholders. The focus is on engaging with migrant communities and regional stakeholders to understand their needs and inform and educate them on how to use the immigration system effectively and lawfully.
Successful candidates must be able to build and manage relationships with key stakeholders that inform and support delivery of Immigration New Zealand's strategic objectives.
Skills and experience required:

- Proven experience engaging with and managing the needs of diverse stakeholders
- A strong relationship management and collaborative skills
- Experience working in a regulatory agency
- Ability to tailor information for specific audiences
About the team:
The Immigration Engagement Unit was established in the Strategy, Engagement and Education (SEE) Branch of INZ. The SEE branch engages with sectors, industry employers and institutions to ensure New Zealand gets the migrants it needs and users of the immigration system know their obligations.
