This is a fantastic opportunity to kick start your career in business continuity, emergency and incident management within one of New Zealand's biggest government agencies. If you're keen to work in this space, but don't necessarily have the experience usually required – we'd like to hear from you!
We're looking for someone with the right motivation, drive and attitude to join our Emergency Management team, which is responsible for developing and managing the policies, standards, processes and procedures to ensure MBIE is ready to respond to emergencies and business disruptions.
This is a fast-paced environment which would suit a self-starter with great administration skills, a strong customer focus and good prioritisation and time management skills.
We are looking for:
- Someone who can provide excellent administrative support to the Emergency Management Team, and staff at MBIE with incident management responsibilities
- Excellent communication skills
- Someone who is well-organised and proactive
- An ability to work without direct supervision, self-manage, self-initiate and self-start
