PRINCIPAL PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST / COMMERCIAL LEADER
You will have a strong commercial and relationship management background. Government experience is not essential.
We have a unique opportunity for an exceptional commercial leader to influence system-wide change and shape All-of-Government markets. As a Principal Procurement Specialist you will lead complex commercial, supplier and category management. You will provide strategic insight and commercial knowledge to shape the delivery of innovative solutions to deliver public value to government agencies.

- A natural ability to engage and influence stakeholders
- Superior ability to critically analyse complex commercial, contractual and procurement situations and to recommend and design robust strategies and solutions
- Experience in developing, mentoring and coaching staff to achieve their potential

We are recruiting for two Principal Procurement Specialist roles in the Supplier Relationship Management team within New Zealand Government Procurement & Property at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment (MBIE).
