About the role:
We are currently looking for a Manager System Action and Tasking to lead within our new Operations, Tasking and Improvement and support the General Manager Operations (Associate DCE). The Manager System Action and Tasking is accountable for tasking activity across the business to ensure tactical and planned operational activity is effectively executed and aligned to the INZ Strategy.
The positon works closely with the Manager Incident Response and Manager Business Prioritisation to understand flow on implications for other branches from incident management activities, planned operational activity to deliver strategic objectives. The position works closely with the other branches to understand and resolve operational constraints and address any conflicts effectively for the overall benefit of Immigration New Zealand (INZ).
The Manager System Action and Tasking is entering the business at an exciting time of change and growth, and will bring with them:
- Experience leading and driving cross organisational activity across a distributive business.
- Proven ability to manage internal and external relationships and use negotiation and influence to deliver outcomes.
- An understanding of project management and change management techniques.
- Able to negotiate with peers to align disparate perspectives and execute the integration of functions, plans and actions.
- Ability to engage in clear sighted planning with experience engaging in process improvement activities.
