Visa Operations Managers within Immigration New Zealand are ultimately responsible for high quality and timely processing of visa applications. They are also responsible for process improvement and quality management and ensuring consistent engagement with customers from across the business. Visa Operations Managers will focus on a product line which could be: Business, Specialist, Education, Tourism, or Support functions.
Taking leadership of day to day operations in the area office, this position works closely with the Head of Operations and is responsible for establishing clear accountabilities and performance standards with all direct reports to ensure consistent, quality performance management across day to day operations within geographical areas both on and offshore.
You will have experience managing large-scale, complex operating environments that require the balancing of risk and service delivery. You will be a skilled relationship manager, comfortable navigating complex, political environments and working at both strategic and local levels to promote the organisation. Sound business acumen and strong business, analytical and forecasting skills are also essential to deliver successfully in this position. Large-scale operational and high volume processing experience is essential in this role.
