Visa Services 2020 is a customer excellence programme within Immigration New Zealand. The implementation began in 2018 and is continuing over a three year period. With digital technology and bringing more work onshore the outcome will be a more accurate, consistent and timely service.
This is an ambitious programme of work that is creating a number of new opportunities across the Visa Services group as we transition.
About the role:
The Manager Verification plays a key role in maintaining a strong emphasis on verification from a regional perspective and providing assurance to assistant general managers on overall health of verification-related systems and tools. You will also have direct input into the overall design of verification profiling and triage (business rules) to enhance regional and enterprise wide future operating model.
Key deliverables of the role include:
- Maintaining and providing oversight of the design and health of internal audit systems
- Building, developing and maintaining local verification management capability
- Ensuring verification profiling and related risk triage systems are robust and appropriately maintained
- Identifying intelligence, information analysis requirements for the region
To be successful in the role you will have a sound working knowledge of verification management methodology as it relates to immigration management. Alongside this you will have demonstrated understanding of the intelligence lifecycle and its practical application in an operational environment.
