Visa Services 2020 is a customer excellence programme within Immigration New Zealand that is being implemented over 3 years. With digital technology and bringing more work onshore the outcome will be a more accurate, consistent and timely service.
This is an ambitious programme of work that will create a number of new opportunities across the Visa Services group as we transition over the coming years.
With the shift in business model, we have three new opportunities for Business Analysts to join our Visa Performance and Contracts team based in our Wellington office.
As Business Analyst you will be responsible for providing advice and support, including forecasting, performance planning and performance. You will also work closely with business analysts across the Immigration group ensuring consistency of approach of processes and tools.
The Business Analyst is responsible for ensuring quality and consistency of advice and practices in relation to their contribution to the team's work.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Provide analytical support and advice to management across various business areas within the Immigration Group
- Provide forecasting and reporting within your business group area
- Provide analysis and support process improvement
To be considered for the role you will have demonstrated skills in data analysis and reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience using SAS and/or R, although candidates with other coding skills and/or advanced Excel skills may also be considered.
