Our busy, large-scale Immigration NZ processing site in Manukau requires a client-focused, reliable Office Manager to handle day-to-day operations with a focus on efficiency and time management. The Office Manager will be responsible for designing and implementing office processes and procedures to improve efficiencies, streamlining administrative procedures, inventory control and task delegation for IT helpdesk. We're looking for an energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats and rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop organisational procedures and systems for the Manukau Area office including site staff, filing, billing, accounts payable and liaising with commercial business partners
  • Diary management and travel arrangements for staff
  • Support recruitment, on-boarding, induction and related HR related administration
  • Manage facilities and contractors on-site
  • Maintain ledger reconciliations and all related cost centre finance administration
  • Support a positive team atmosphere through employee development


This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced office manager who enjoys working in a fast paced, dynamic environment. The position requires someone with solid experience across office and business administration, including managing finance and recruitment functions.


Experience and skills required:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite- particularly Excel
  • Experience with scheduling, budgeting and payroll
  • Recruitment, staff mentoring experience
  • Supply management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, pressured  environment
