An exciting opportunity has arisen within Immigration New Zealand's (INZ) Service Design & Performance branch for a Business Analyst within the Immigration Health Team (IHT). The IHT provide leadership on immigration health matters, as well as managing INZ's panel physician network, working with other country partners on shared international initiatives and providing technical support for immigration health systems. The Business Analyst will bring their business understanding and perspective to contribute to the team through business process review and design optimisation.


Skills and experience required:


  • Knowledge of the design and application of strategies, frameworks, business planning and forecasting, policies, processing and systems, including IT systems in a complex business environment. 
  • A proven track record of experience and achievement in an analytical role, utilising complex information.
  • The ability to readily grasp and synthesise the ideas, analysis and advice produced by others.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining an environment focused on continuous improvement to enhance organisational performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of immigration policy and the health sector would be beneficial.
  • Must be a New Zealand citizen or hold a residence class visa.
