We are looking for an experienced Senior Stakeholder Engagement and Change Advisor with the ability to work across the organisation, with a wide range of stakeholders, on the Ministry's privacy programme. The programme will set a strong foundation for privacy and personal information management at MBIE. The role includes working with leaders, managers and staff to identify current practice and contribute to the design and development of policies, procedures and process for privacy that are fit for purpose; clear; accessible and useable.  You will need the ability to engage across MBIE at all levels, and write information and communication materials for staff at different levels to inform them of the privacy programme. You will need to be able develop implementation plans for policies and processes that take account of business Group needs.


Skills and experience required:

  • At least 5 years' experience in a stakeholder engagement / change role
  • Strong and persuasive communications including written and oral presentation skills
  • Experience in developing and implementing communications and engagement strategies
  • Experience in developing implementation plans for new policies, process and systems
  • Flexibility to adapt within a fast moving environment
  • Must have legal right to live and work in NZ
