About the role

One of our fantastic PAs has just been appointed into an exciting secondment opportunity for two years.  As a result we have a fixed term position available for a PA/Team Administrator to join us in MBIE's Building System and Performance Branch.

In this role you will be responsible for providing a high level of support to managers and their teams.   You will use your strong relationship management and organisational skills to process assigned tasks and resolve issues, while providing efficient diary /email management support for four managers.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for someone who is client-focused, flexible and agile with a positive, proactive approach to their work ensuring tasks are completed to a high level of detail.

You will also have:

  • a proven track record of experience and success in providing PA / Administrative support to teams and managers
  • demonstrated agility in supporting multiple teams and responding to changes in priorities
  • experience with diary management / email management and in a previous PA role
  • extensive knowledge of administration systems and processes
  • sound relationship management skills
  • a proactive approach to work and plenty of initiative
  • experience with the Microsoft Office software applications
  • attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and to work well under pressure
  • Must have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand

We are expecting to appoint within the range of $45,000 - $55,000 per annum depending on experience.
