An exciting opportunity has come about for an experienced Online Information Advisor to join MBIE, working with Immigration New Zealand in our Settlement Unit. As the Advisor Online Information you will be responsible forensuring information is effectively and efficiently disseminated.  You will play a key role in working with our stakeholders internally and externally.  In addition this role will help to ensure that the Settlement Unit is positioned to meet information needs in ways that are innovative, responsive, and effective.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

 

  • Proven experience in online content management
    • A sound understanding of the internet and related communication media, and how these can be most effectively used to provide information to key stakeholder groups.
    • Proven skills and experience in the use of Google Analytics
  • Excellent communication skills (especially in writing for the web)
    • An attention to detail and a proven ability to deliver high quality work.
    • Ability to think creatively and innovatively, and show initiative.
    • Ability to quickly establish and build strong and collaborative working relationships.
