In the Construction and Housing Markets Branch, our policy teams are helping New Zealanders have affordable, safe and healthy homes.  We work on a range of challenging housing and construction market issues with a mix of short and long term work/projects. We're a high performing policy shop with a supportive culture. To continue to deliver top quality policies that touch all New Zealanders lives, we are on the look-out for that perfect person to provide us with some top quality PA and administrative support.


With no two days the same you will be responsible for producing quality documents and reports, booking travel, meetings, diary and email management for busy managers. You will be a keen communicator, comfortable with all levels of an organisation, professional, flexible and keen to ‘own' this role. We encourage initiative and look for pro-active individuals that are keen to make a difference from day one!   


We are looking for a mix of the following skills, experience and attitude:

  • Proven experience of providing quality PA support including diary /e-mail management
  • Sound judgement and decision-making
  • Agility in supporting multiple teams and responding to changes in priority
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically proven experience formatting documents and reports
  • Proven success organising and managing multiple streams of work
  • Strong team player, able to provide the link between other teams and individuals
  • Natural collaborator.
