We have an exciting opportunity for a Ministerial Workflow Advisor to join our team.  As our a workflow advisor, you will be responsible for logging, allocating and tracking OIAs, PQs, Ministerials, Ombudsman complaints, briefings to Ministers and other tasks as required, and advising on ownership, transfers and the coordination of responses to cross Ministry work.  You will provide high quality and customer-centric services. 


You will work collaboratively with specific business group portfolios and maintain key relationships in order to identify and understand their specific needs. 


To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Excellent standard of computer literacy and word processing
  • Experience working in an office environment
  • Motivated can-do attitude and a well-developed understanding of the concept of good customer service
  • Ability to quickly establish and build strong working relationships
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Some understanding of MBIE and where a ministerial services team fits in delivering outcomes for the Ministry
  • Sound knowledge and experience of OIAs, PQs and Ministerials
  • Understanding of Government decision-making and operating procedures.
